"Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself." George Bernard Shaw

Hello! I am SO happy you are here!

Are you READY to make changes in your life but not sure how?

READY to commit to addressing your values and needs?

READY to cultivate deeper levels of self-compassion and self-trust? READY to release patterns that no longer serve you?

If NOW is that time, you have come to the right place!

    A little about me...

Like some of you, I have spent decades putting others needs before my own. At the same time, I did not hold myself accountable for my behaviors and choices for managing my health. For years I have coped with depression, poor relationships and circumstances by abusing food.

Living like that for so long took a toll on my spiritual, physical, financial and mental health. By the time I was 46 I was taking 12 medications, weighed 370 pounds at 5'5 and was steadily spiraling into further health crisis. Five days before my 48th birthday I made the life changing decision to have bariatric surgery, VSG (Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy).

This decision has changed the course of my life and I cannot thank God enough for helping me have the bravery to have made it. It has not just impacted me and how I see myself, it has positively impacted my husband (Ryan) of 18 years.

Deciding to care for myself on a holistic level has positively impacted my family and friends, how I work, my levels of energy, and so, so much more. I have lost over 125 lbs and still going!

I am more mobile than I can remember, have dropped from 12 to 4 medications, have completed over 65 virtual walking challenges, released countless inches and clothing sizes, and so much more. Choosing to change has allowed me to truly understand the importance of tending to my own needs, advocating for my self, prioritizing my health holistically and self-care. Rather than living in more regret, I am now on a new path full of empowerment, self-awareness and a deeper desire to grow forward.

Making changes in my life has led me to want to be here for you. Because I understand change is hard, that both helplessness and hopelessness can leave us paralyzed in moving forward and making intentional change, I am grateful to provide support on YOUR journey.

In addition to being a certified Master Life Coach, I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago, am a Certified Case Manager (CCM) and also am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). When you are ready to move in the direction of change, I will walk with you on that journey of discovery.

    My Why...

I thrive helping others because I want to...

...Empower you to embrace your authentic self through empathy, inspriation, innovative thinking and resilience. Together, we will cultivate a space for your personal growth and transformation, individually tailored to your own unique needs.

...Guide and uplift you, helping you unlock your potential, overcome challenges, and step boldly into a life of purpose, fulfillment and limitless possibility.

    Are you READY?

Let's blast through limitations together so you can achieve your goals in a supportive environment, one micro habit change at a time.

Remember...you are not alone! Your journey starts here...today...and I am honored to walk alongside you.

    WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

    COACHING VS THERAPY

*** COACHING IS NOT THERAPY, NOR IS IT INTENDED TO TREAT SEVERE MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES.

Therapy primarily focuses on understanding and healing past experiences, emotional challenges, or mental health issues. Therapy addresses mental health conditions, trauma and associated stressors, or deep-seated emotional issues, mental health issues and diagnoses. If in the course of our work it becomes clear you need therapeutic support, I am happy to help you locate professional resources better suited for your needs.

Coaching is more future-oriented, short-termed, focuses on achieving specific goals, and holds you accountable. I provide guidance, tools like goal-setting, strategizing, skill-building and creating action plans to provide you with skills you can tap into long after we meet. This can be accomplished through healthy communication, deep inquiry, self-compassion and change readiness.
