Excuse me, but I must tell you…you are absolutely, positively, radiantly, beautiful. Behind your smile, your hair, your personality, is an incredibly magnificent individual!

For many of you this exclamation may seem weird, unnatural, even untrue, but rest assured I mean every word of it. Living in today’s crazy and often hectic and chaotic world, we forget how wonderfully created we are. For too long we have settled for “second best” and stayed comfortable with being “almost number one” when it comes to our relationships or in our desires for successful living.

I wonder when we bought into the fallacy “we do not deserve the best that love, and life have to offer.” Was it during the uncertainty of our childhood? Maybe it was with our first heartbreak, or perhaps our first encounter with negativity? Regardless of when and where, many of us have been damaged and scared, afraid to think on how valuable we really are as part of this huge universe. When it comes time to give of us to others, or to accept the kindness and grace of others, we are unable to do so because of damage we have previously suffered.

It is, however, the very resilience given to us by God in the creation of mankind that allow us to run towards what we deserve…only the best! No matter the unkind words whispered in our ears, unfair treatments, self-doubt and fragments of low self-worth we have experienced in the past, we deserve to be appreciated, loved, and nurtured.

Now is the time to release the myth we must be all things, to everyone, without giving back to ourselves and claiming what’s rightly ours – appreciation, admiration, love.

I strongly believe God created each of us uniquely! What makes us whole and distinct cannot be bought. Our character cannot be found in other people. How we respect ourselves and others, how we build up and not tear down greatly impacts how we move along during our lives. No one else can replace you or share your talents, quirks, intelligence, and so much more. There is, and will always be, only one YOU.

Wherever you are in life remember you deserve the best! God has something just for you to release your talents, skills and purpose. After all, God gave HIS very best! BELIEVE you are priceless.
